Food Distribution

Butler Church partners with the Central CA Food Bank to provide food assistance to those in need. The free giveaway is on the
first Friday of every month
at 9am in the main parking lot. (If you arrive extra early, enter the campus off of Winery & Townsend.) Coffee is served during the hour beforehand, and numbers are given out so you do not need to stand in line after checking in.

Youth Group
Sundays @ 4:00 PM resuming February 8
Youth grades 7-12 are invited to join us on Sundays! Our youth leadership team has a special plan for each gathering with fun, games, snacks, and a look at how we find God in everyday life. Find us in the youth room at 4pm on Sundays! (Event info is also posted on our Youth page.)
Note: Yes Feb 8 is Superbowl Sunday...we'll have the game on for those who want to watch or just have fun together.
Bible Study with Nzash Lumeya

If you're interested in learning more about Jesus and the Good News in the Bible, or just looking for some refreshment for your body, heart, and soul, join us! This Bible study will be hosted by Dr Nzash Lumeya in the book of Psalms.

Intersections Cohort
Tuesdays (Jan 20 - Feb 24)
This 6 week learning cohort is hosted by the Central Valley Justice Coalition at Butler Church. Through scripture, community speakers, and guided conversations, we’ll dive into six interconnected topics, seeking deeper understanding of both our local context and God’s heart for our neighbors. Participants will gain insight into the challenges and strengths present in Fresno, Hear from leaders working directly in areas addressing human trafficking, economic security, the justice system, and more….and consider practical ways to join the work God is already doing in our community. These sessions will be on Tuesday evenings from Jan 20 - Feb 24. A registration cost of $30 covers most meals for the six weeks. (If cost is a barrier, please come anyway. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.) Register at info@justiceco.org.

Memorial Service

Ash Wednesday Service
Wednesday, March 18 @ 6:30-7:30 pm
This month marks the beginning of Lent, starting with Ash Wednesday. All are welcome to join an Ash Wednesday service in the Butler Sanctuary for our Ash Wednesday Service. Our time will include worship, reading of scripture, the imposition of ashes (if desired) and a variety of stations to engage in to begin your journey with Jesus through the Lenten Series. Youth and children are invited to participate - stations are children-friendly (3rd grade and older).
The season of Lent signifies Jesus setting his face toward Jerusalem and beginning his journey to the cross. Traditionally, during Lent many people take up a spiritual practice like fasting to focus more attention upon Christ and his cross. It can also be a time we intentionally say Yes to something as we let go of other habits.
Combined Service

Our next All-Church Combined Service us coming up! Join us for worship in multiple languages together with people from all of Butler our congregations! There will be one worship service at 10AM, which will also be available online. We will be hearing from our partner agencies and taking a special offering for their support. You can find out more here! Join in before the worship service for fellowship in our courtyard during Butler Cafe.
Sunday Worship Services
Join us for worship this Sunday! Congregations meet in both the Family Center and Worship Center during the morning. Our children's ministry also has in person activities for kids each Sunday during the 11:00 hour (Children will be dismissed from the service). Our regular worship schedule:
