Advent Season
Sundays through Jan 4
The season of Advent is a meaningful of time of reflection and celebration. Our theme this year is “The Slow Work of God.” Our Sunday gatherings (9AM & 10:45am) will explore what it means to partner with God patiently & faithfully in the restoration and healing of our world.
God’s work is always underway, but the hectic pace and endless distractions of our lives can obscure our vision and hinder our faith. The good news is that we can choose to slow down and reconnect with God’s never-ending project of loving this world into wholeness. Let’s grow together in hope, peace, joy, and love this Advent season!
Food Distribution

Butler Church partners with the Central CA Food Bank to provide food assistance to those in need. The free giveaway is on the
first Friday of every month
at 9am in the main parking lot. (If you arrive extra early, enter the campus off of Winery & Townsend.) Coffee is served during the hour beforehand, and numbers are given out so you do not need to stand in line after checking in.

Kings' Day Festival for Children
Sunday, January 4
Our Amor y Fe congregation is planning a “Festival de Dia de Reyes” (Kings Day Festival) for children, on Sunday afternoon January 4. We are also planning to bless each child with a toy gift. To donate or to sign up, please contact Pastor Elbio or the church office (559-252-3741). The event is free and open to friends, but each child must be registered in advance. Thank you!

Prayer Gatherings

Let’s begin the
year with our attention attuned to God and what He wants to accomplish in our individual lives, the life of our church, and in our city. Churches in Fresno/Clovis are again joining together for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting at the start of the new year. Click here
for more information, including a daily devotional, and prayer gatherings taking place each evening in person and online at various locations.
A note about Fasting: This is about more much more than than “giving up” - it’s about making room! Fasting from a meal, a particular food, or an activity, creates a “space” in us for God to fill. Prayer is communication with God; it's a two-way conversation where we speak and listen.
Women's Bible Study Group

Youth Group
Sundays @ 4:00 PM resuming January 11
Youth grades 7-12 are invited to join us on Sundays! Our youth leadership team has a special plan for each gathering with fun, games, snacks, and a look at how we find God in everyday life. Find us in the youth room at 4pm on Sundays! (Event info is also posted on our Youth page.)
Sunday Worship Services
Join us for worship this Sunday! Congregations meet in both the Family Center and Worship Center during the morning. Our children's ministry also has in person activities for kids each Sunday during the 11:00 hour (Children will be dismissed from the service). Our regular worship schedule:

Our Butler ministries help us serve and reach people of different ages, and different backgrounds. These include:
