Announcements week of January 18
Let’s begin the year with our attention attuned to God and what He wants to accomplish in our individual lives, the life of our church, and in our city. Churches in Fresno/Clovis are again joining together for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting at the start of the new year (Jan 5-25). Printed resources are available on Sundays or from the church office. Prayer gatherings are taking place each evening in person and online at various locations.
This 6 week learning cohort is hosted by the Central Valley Justice Coalition at Butler Church. Through scripture, community speakers, and guided conversations, we’ll dive into six interconnected topics, seeking deeper understanding of both our local context and God’s heart for our neighbors.
These sessions will be on Tuesday evenings from Jan 20 - Feb 24. A registration cost of $30 covers most meals for the six weeks. (If cost is a barrier, please come anyway. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.)

Butler offers a monthy food distribution, but the need in our community is greater than ever. In response to the suspension of SNAP benefits, we are inviting donations of non-perishable food supplies to have available throughout the month. Volunteer coordinators are also needed.
To help, contact the church office. Food donations can be brought during he week or on Sundays. You can also give online to "food ministry."
Visit our Events page for information on recurring events like youth group, food distribution, and men's and women's ministry gatherings. Thanks!
