Common Ground is a congregation of Butler Church. As a multi-ethnic, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse congregation of faith, our mission is to experience and share the transformational power of Jesus Christ.

This is done through Biblical preaching and teaching, prayer, a variety of worship forms, regular fellowship, intentional discipleship, and deliberate engagement with our surrounding communities through relationships and service.

We were drawn to the name Common Ground not just because some of us are coffee lovers(!), but because it frees us to be common people – people who are broken and make mistakes, but are being transformed. Also we find common ground with all people before the cross of Jesus. And, as Paul says, we will try to find common ground with everyone so that they may have a relationship Christ – not to just to be talking about our faith, but also living it! (I Cor 9:22)
